Privacy
The same rule that governs the numbers governs the data: nothing collected quietly, nothing claimed that can't be checked. This page states exactly what the site and the newsletter collect, what they never do, and the choices you have.
What the site collects
daringtobuild.com is a static site. It has no accounts, no logins, and sets no cookies. Page views are measured with Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate — it records that a page was viewed, not who you are, and does not track you across other sites. The site is hosted on Vercel, whose infrastructure keeps standard, short-lived access logs to serve and secure the site.
What the newsletter collects
Subscribing hands your email address to the newsletter's sending provider under strict double opt-in: an address that never clicks the confirmation email is never sent the newsletter and never counted in the published subscriber number. The signup form records which page you subscribed from (for example the home page or an episode page) so we can publish honest numbers about what works. Your address is used to send the newsletter — nothing else. Every issue carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
What never happens
No sale of personal data. No advertising trackers or third-party audience pixels. No purchased or imported subscriber lists — the property starts from zero and publishes every real number on the way up. If any of this ever changes, this page changes first, dated.
Your choices
Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any issue. To ask for your subscriber data to be exported or deleted, reach us through any channel on the contact page and we will handle it with the provider.
